Security Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a security engineer to expand our operations team. You will join and work closely together with a team of experts, managed by the operations manager.
As a security engineer, you will design, install, maintain & troubleshoot security projects.
As IT Security Engineer your main responsibilities will be:
- Operate within our Network Operations Center for 2nd line support
- Manage secure environments, define security concepts and perform Security audits
- Participate in solving technical issues in collaboration with the support team
Your profile- Master or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience
- Strong knowledge in system security, network security and security design
- Good overview of IT security threats and vulnerabilities
- Autonomous, proactive and good problem solving skills
- Team player
- Fluent in English, French or Dutch
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Product knowledge:
- Overall security knowledge
- Juniper Networks
- Barracuda Networks
- Anti-virus solutions
- Vasco
- Imprivata
